Overloaded at Work? Here's One Way to Combat Work Fatigue

Work efficiently, create a system. With the sheer volume of work we must get through on a daily, working swiftly and systematically is key. Heard of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle? Re-purpose, re-purpose, re-purpose, I say.

Work smart. Why do something from scratch when you can just refresh and revise? Not only will you have already done most of the legwork, but you’ll look like a superstar getting done before deadline.

Word to the wise, make sure the work you’re repurposing fits well with the new project and that you thoroughly proof the new document. (The Find and Replace function in Word works well for this.) You don’t want to leave any remnants of the old project hanging around.

Also be sure to organize and save all your most relevant projects as to refer back to them for future projects. Believe you me, once you’ve done one mid year marketing update memo, you’ve done them all.

Having a reusable template to refer back to brings you one step closer to that stress-free work environment... if there is such a thing.
