Copywriting for Search Engine Optimization

For the past few weeks I've been working on a really interesting search engine optimization project for a Hip-hop Web site. I've been drafting several key word intensive articles for inclusion on the site. Each article will occupy its own Web page in order to drive traffic to the main site.

The topic of each article reflects a set of predetermined key words. The Hip-hop related key words were selected by search engine research that specifies the words or phrases that most often drive traffic to the site.

Essentially, the key words in each article attract search engine spiders, so when someone goggles a related topic, the Web site is more likely to appear in the first page of the search results.

I have worked on search engine optimization several times in the past however, I usually work with meta tags and alt image tags in the HTML or hidden code of the site as opposed to visible copy in the body of site.

I'm very interested to see just how much these articles will increase traffic to the Web site and how soon this momentum will be achieved.
